When we began working on this line, comfortable dress shoes in metallics were high on our minds, we kept coming back to the idea of light playing across a room, a reflection on hardwood floors at an evening gathering. There’s something about metallics that carries both celebration and strength, but we knew comfort would have to be at the heart of it. We gathered leathers that caught the light in subtle ways, not loud but luminous, and built them around our supportive, podiatrist-designed structure. We wanted these to be shoes you could stand in as the party shifts from early introductions to late conversation, shoes that hold you through a wedding toast or a work event. We made these for the feeling of confidence that doesn’t fade, no matter how long the night runs.
